BOP Gear Cutters operates from a 650m2 purpose-built factory situated in Mt Maunganui which is one of the best equipped specialist machine shops in the country.

The team consists of four engineering specialists, our experienced Foreman/Manager Darren Adshead and Managing Director Bill Ross. Our staff is highly skilled and has many years of experience, specialising in high tech gear manufacturing and precision CNC components.

We have a fantastic range of gear manufacturing machinery, a gear tooth flame hardening machine, a top quality selection of CNC and manual lathes and milling machines, manual surface, hob and tool and cutter grinders, and plenty of general engineering tools and machinery.

We offer our valued customers a range of services such as manufacturing sprockets, spur and helical gears up to 2.6 metres diameter, internal and external splined and geared shafts and bushes, worm and wheel sets, racks, pinions and custom build gearboxes.
